This Disclaimer (the “Disclaimer”) contains important information that applies to all content and services provided by Mekaru Coaching Services LLC, including on MekaruCoaching.com (the “Site”).

1.) For Educational Purposes Only. The information that is provided is for education and informational purposes only. It is to be used as a self-help tool for your own use. 

2.) You are responsible for your own health. By interacting with the Site, you acknowledge that you are fully responsible for your own health decisions. The services or information provided by Mekaru Coaching Services LLC is not to be used a replacement for your own judgment or advice given by licensed professionals.

3.) Qualifications. Mekaru Coaching Services LLC holds the following qualifications: Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach. Mekaru Coaching Services LLC makes no representations to hold any other qualifications outside of this.  

4.) Scope of Practice. Mekaru Coaching Services LLC adheres to the NBHWC’s Scope of Practice for Health and Wellness Coaches: https://nbhwc.org/scope-of-practice/

5.) Not Professional Medical or Mental Health Advice. The services provided by Mekaru Coaching Services LLC is not professional medical, mental health, or dietary/nutritional advice, nor is it a substitute for such advice. Thus, the services provided by Mekaru Coaching Services LLC are not designed to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, pain, deformity, injury, or mental or physical condition of any kind. It is entirely your responsibility to decide whether to seek professional medical and/or mental health advice before purchasing health coaching services from Mekaru Coaching Services LLC or before making any changes to your lifestyle. 

6.) Refund/Cancellation Policy. If for any reason and at anytime you are unhappy with the services being provided by Mekaru Coaching Services LLC, you can terminate services if you provide Mekaru Coaching Services LLC with a written notice. After the services have been terminated, you will be refunded for the coaching sessions that have not been completed yet at a rate of $50 per session. For example, if you decide to cancel services with 3 sessions left, you will be refunded $150. No refund will be given for the sessions that have already been completed.

7.) No Guarantees. You understand and agree that Mekaru Coaching Services LLC makes no guarantees whatsoever regarding any results with respect services we provide. Results of other clients, including those who provide testimonials, are not generalizable to you. Results in health coaching are highly individual, vary from person to person, and depend on your own effort, commitment and follow through.

8.) Assumption of Risk: Participating in health coaching services and engaging in the activities and behavior changes that stem from participation in health coaching services introduces risk, both known and unknown. These risks could include illness, injury (both physical and psychological), or even death. You understand that engaging in any activity or making any change as a result of your participation in health coaching services is done completely at your own discretion and at your own risk. You agree to fully assume all risks and accept sole responsibility for your safety.

9.) No Warranties. Mekaru Coaching Services LLC makes no promises that the Site or third-party programs we use will always be functional. 

10.) Release, Waiver and Indemnity. You hereby release, hold harmless, indemnify and waive any claims against Mekaru Coaching Services LLC and its owners with respect to any and all liability and damages incurred to you or any other person as a result of, or in any way associated with, services or products sold by Mekaru Coaching Services LLC, however caused, including as a result of negligence. Damages include but not are not limited to damage to or loss of personal property, personal injuries, death, or illness. You are releasing Mekaru Coaching Services and its owners at your own risk and you agree to forfeit any and all forms of legal recourse which may be available to you. You agree that this provision applies to you, your family, heirs, executors or anyone else who may be able to bring a legal action on your behalf in the future.
